This York stone terrace had to blend with existing materials, now a useable space overlooking mature borders.This kind of quality simply gets better with time.

This property entrance was transformed. As the last pointing was brushed off the table and chairs were in use. Just how it should be!

The clients on this project wanted a more easily accessed and user friendly rear garden. They were happy with this! The Indian sandstone adds some rich but natural colours to the garden.

This brick terrace was perfect for an old Sussex farmhouse. The really skilled brickwork here is the path traversing the terrace, it meets an existing brick path just out of shot. Skilled craftsmanship combined with the quirkiness of rural sussex farms makes a contented finish for all.

The work here has allowed much greater use of this space in a range of ways and is useable in all weathers. (Allowing for British variety!)

Old brick meets new brick, Sussex sandstone meets Indian sandstone. The careful selection of materials, professionally laid, means that hard landscape work like this looks at ease from the moment it's laid.

This entrance had previously felt awkward and 'squashed'. Now the path and terrace allow a safe gently sloping entrance onto the terrace and all the way to the front door. So easy now just to sit out with a cup of tea.

The terrace shown here was used very well by the client's family, and friends too on many occasions. The combination of hard materials and soft grass meant that all the finished levels had to be perfect so that mowing the grass easily whilst maintaining its health was paramount.

The small terrace here in Indian sandstone joins the house and the lawn. The Indian sandstone is also laid in other areas of this garden bringing a sense of continuity to its use.

Gravel and old bricks make for a satisfying visual finish. Easy, relatively inexpensive and effective.

York stone used on this terrace is just like good wine, it gets better with age. The chairs are within 2 strides of the kitchen. This is absolutely an outdoor extension of the house and is used to great effect.

This half moon gravel seating area overlooks the most beautiful Sussex countryside. The space is proportionate to the house and the fine gravel finish is laid onto a carefully drained then constructed base. The gravel itself is a thin layer over smooth concrete, avoiding any awkward sinking of furniture or stilletos. As always the levels all meet immaculately.
