This project showcases a timeless garden transformation at a traditional terraced property, where we brought local garden designer, Tina Vallis’s vision to life through careful planning, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Terraced Garden Setting

Set within a characterful, established setting, the garden is framed at the far end by mature trees and dense hedging, which provide privacy, structure, and a beautiful natural backdrop. Our team worked with the existing features to create a harmonious design that feels rooted in the landscape while offering refreshed vitality and flow.

Terraced Garden Lawn

At the heart of the garden lies a generous, curved lawn—lush, healthy, and inviting. The sweeping curve softens the space and draws the eye naturally toward the rear of the garden, where a hand-built dry stone retaining wall provides both function and charm. This wall forms the boundary between the lawn and an elevated planting bed, giving the garden distinct layers and added visual interest.

Beyond the wall, an established bed features a curated mix of shrubs and traditional rose bushes, offering colour, texture, and seasonal variety. These mature plantings will continue to flourish with minimal intervention, bringing lasting beauty to the space year after year.

Build Collaboration

This project was completed in close collaboration with a talented local garden designer, whose detailed plan we followed precisely to ensure the final result reflected both their intent and the client’s aspirations. The finished garden is a blend of classic structure, refined planting, and lasting quality—a space designed to thrive for years to come.
